A parent or guardian. A child. One team.
A one-day Two Workout Race on school grounds, built around movement and a shared experience.

ONE SCHOOL. ONE COMMUNITY. ONE LEGACY LEAGUE. ONCE A MONTH.
Proposed for 2027. Dates will be confirmed together with host schools.
Children spend years watching their parents from the sidelines. Parents spend years watching their children from theirs. Legacy League puts them on the same field.
For one day, they are not simply parent and child. They are teammates.
To be healthy and able to run, carry, push, pull, laugh, struggle and ultimately finish something together is something worth appreciating. Legacy League gives parents and children the opportunity to share that privilege.
Legacy League is a one-day experience in which a parent and child take part as one team. The day is built around simple functional movement, teamwork, encouragement and a shared experience.
The core format is a Two Workout Race: two challenges in which both teammates must participate meaningfully.
WORKOUT ONE
WORKOUT TWO
When the countdown begins, two generations stand together at the start line.
The aim is not for the stronger or faster teammate to take over. They work together, wait for one another, encourage one another and finish together.
When 3, 2, 1... sounds, for that moment they are not simply parent and child. They are teammates.
You do not have to be the fastest. You do not have to be the strongest. You simply have to show up for each other.
Every participant will receive a Legacy League Participation Pack as part of the day's experience.
ENCOURAGE. DON'T PRESSURE.
WAIT. DON'T TAKE OVER.
RESPECT THE ATTEMPT.
FINISH TOGETHER.
How you finish matters. How you get there together matters even more.
The movements are simple, recognisable and adaptable. The purpose is not to test technical skill, but to create an environment where parent and child can discover what their bodies are capable of, together.
Loads, distances, heights and movement requirements are adapted according to age and ability.
The experience is for ordinary families with different levels of fitness and sporting experience.
Mom and daughter, mom and son, dad and daughter, dad and son, or an appropriate parent/guardian and child can take part together.
